To have your own website like this one, you first need a domain name (www.yourname.com or net or org or de) and that costs about 12 Euro per year. Then you will need a space on an Internet server to host your website (hosting) and that has to be an advanced server with database and programming support (not like free space offered by some companies). For a personal or a small business a 100 MB space is enough to host more than a hundred page with photos an documments. It costs about 3 Euros per month. Alternatively for a bigger site a 500 MB for about 8 Euros per month is recommended. Then comes the design and programming. All the server software applications I I use are open source GPL/GNU (not only free but also I can modify any way I want). So you only pay for design and programming work time. To custom build site like this it takes from 5 to 50 working hours multiplied by (20 - 30) Euro per working hour. (Design hour costs 20 Euros and programming hour costs 30 Euros consultant hour can be up to 50 Euros) How many working hours your website will take depends on how flexible you are with the design and the components of your site. |
